Juxtaposition is an act or instance of placing two things close together or side by side. This is often done in order to compare/contrast the two, to show similarities or differences,

in a certain direction. Juxtaposition=X+Y? Meaning is created by juxtaposing X(campbells-as i know is a mushroom soup) and Y(tomato). We don’t say “X is like Y” necessarily. We just set them side by side and see what new meanings are made. Is there any tomato soup in the market?
